FAQs
Can I buy Nutrix in shops?
The short answer is no.
In order to keep our prices competitive we only sell online. By cutting out the middlemen we are able to produce a great product and sell it at a competitive price. A large % of the cost of a traditional brand of dog food will go to distributors, resellers, wholesalers and on advertising budgets. By doing away with all of that we keep our prices keen and our customers happy.
Can I return my order?
Due to the perishable nature of the products we cannot accept returns, other than for faulty, damaged or incorrect deliveries.
How long will it take to deliver my order?
STANDARD SHIPPING
Our standard shipping service is classed as 1-2 days, meaning that if you place an order on a Monday you should receive it no later than Wednesday. However, if you order before 1pm you should get your delivery next day. This excludes weekends and public holidays. The majority of customers get their delivery next working day.
How much is delivery?
Our delivery charges are based on weight. It is £9.25 for the first 28Kg. This is weight of a 1x15Kg and 1x12Kg bag shipped together. The delivery charges for the Scottish Highland & Islands, Isle of Man and The Channel Islands cost more.
Shipping to NI and The Republic of Ireland
Due to Brexit we currently don't ship to Northern ireland or the Republic of Ieland.
If my order arrives damaged, what should I do?
Firstly, do not sign for the consignment if you suspect, or can see, that the consignment has been damaged in any way. Inform the driver that you wish to inspect the goods prior to providing any signature. If the goods are acceptable to you then sign as normal. If the goods are damaged then please refuse delivery and contact us immediately on 01282 918001.
NOTE: If you sign for the goods it means you have accepted those goods and no refunds, returns or further claims can be made.
My order hasn't arrived, what should I do?
Your order should arrive at the latest within 3 working days after your order was placed. If your order has not arrived by this time you should contact us immediately so we can trace your order with our couriers. Do not wait any longer than this to contact us. Call 0121 461 4534 or 07971 170 240
What are your terms and conditions of business?
Our full terms of business are detailed here. When you make a purchase you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
What if I'm not in when my order arrives?
The driver should leave a card to say he has attempted a delivery. However, many of our customers add delivery instructions to their order. You can ask the driver to leave it anywhere you think is safe. This could be with a neighbour, or out of sight at your house somewhere. We would recommend against leaving your order in plain view as there is always a risk they could be pilfered. PLEASE NOTE: The customer assumes full responsibility for deliveries left according to instructions. We cannot be held responsible for any loss where instructions have been followed. Our couriers will always make a note of when a delivery has been left according to instructions.
What types of payment do you accept?
You have several ways to pay for your orders.
• Credit or debit card (VISA, Mastercard, Electron, Maestro)
• Paypal
What's the difference between 'wheat gluten free' and 'grain AND cereal free'
All our products are wheat gluten free. Wheat gluten is one of the most common causes of digestive issues in dogs. It is used mainly as a filler in cheaper dog foods.
Some of our products - The Duck & Potato and our Fish & Potato also contain no cereals as well. These 2 recipes are highly recommended for dogs with more serious digestive issues and we have had particular success with dogs suffering EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency), colitis, gastritis, irritable bowel disease, allergies, and is good for general maintenance.
