Scullcap and Valerian Tablets for Dogs and Cats These scullcap and valerian tablets are a licensed herbal medicine for cats and dogs to relieve symptoms of anxiety, nervousness excitability, and travel sickness; they are also an adjunct in the treatment of epilepsy. Useful for thunderstorms, fireworks, gunfire, phobias, hyperactivity, apprehension, phobias and visits to the vets, or for simply visiting unfamiliar places. Great for showing or obedience training too because these tablets do not impair normal behaviour or performance, nor cause drowsiness. Scullcap and valerian can also be used to treat cats to control territorial spraying by making them more relaxed, whether they be neutered males or dominant females.

NOTE FOR BONFIRE NIGHT:
The medicine can be given one week before fireworks night and continued for as long as needed, until the firework season has stopped! If your pet has become very stressed in the past it is often useful to start the tablets earlier - anywhere between 10 days and 3 weeks, depending on how severely affected they have been. Don't panic if you have not left a lot of time to prepare as you can still give these tablets on the day of the fireworks and they will still help your pet.
