Benefits

Venison
This is a high-quality grain-free multi-protein complete food for dogs. Wild venison is a novel protein and is known to be beneficial to include in your dog’s diet, especially if they have sensitivities or show signs of allergies. Venison provides an excellent source of B vitamins, and minerals such as phosphorous, iron and zinc, which combined help to maintain a good immune system, boost energy levels, aid metabolism function, and also support bones, teeth and muscles. Best of all, dogs usually love the taste. Venison is also quite low in fat and cholesterol.

Salmon
When combined with Scottish salmon, the recipe provides natural Omega 3 fatty acids, helping to reduce inflammation, lower blood pressure and improve arterial function. Salmon is also abundant in B vitamins, needed for energy production. Salmon also contains good amounts of potassium and selenium which help to prevent excess fluid retention, protect bone health and improve thyroid function. Salmon also contains an antioxidant called astaxanthin which is known to benefit the skin, heart, brain and nervous system. Our proteins have all been cooked at a gentle 90C temperature keeping in all the freshness and protecting the protein and nutrients described above. This means this multi-protein dog food recipe will be easily digested resulting in less waste!

Mulberry
We believe that it is important, if possible, to add natural antioxidants for dogs in our recipes. Mulberry is an antioxidant-rich food for dogs, it is natural, easily digestible, healthy and dogs love them! There are many benefits of antioxidants for dogs. These mulberries are not just low in fat but they contain soluble and insoluble fibres, which is good for constipation - a perfect addition to any dog’s recipe. Mulberries contain vitamins A, C, E, K, B2 and B6 for tissue strength, strong bones and much much more. They include minerals, such as calcium, iron, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc and potassium.

Sweet potato
We have included sweet potatoes as a great source of carbohydrates. They provide plenty of fibre to help promote a healthy digestive system, which in turn will help to form solid stools! Sweet potatoes are easy to digest and they release their energy slowly, which helps control blood sugar levels. Sweet potato is high in beta-carotene, which is known to be good for your dog’s vision! There are also vitamins E and C in sweet potatoes and both are excellent for hair and skin health. Vitamin C also supports the immune system. They also contain useful amounts of magnesium to help with sleep and anxiety.

Prebiotics
This recipe has been formulated to also include natural plant-based prebiotics, such as chicory. They are called MOS and FOS for short. They feed the good bacteria Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus, which help to improve your dog’s gut microbiome and provides a boost for all-round immunity. Also, more recent research shows that having a healthy gut means there is more likelihood of having a healthy brain in old age.

Omega 3 and 6
Linseeds (also called flaxseeds) are rich in both Omega 3 and Omega 6. We included them in this recipe because they are essential fatty acids, which will provide enormous benefits to your dog. Omega 6 is important for immunity and various cell functions and it will also help to soften and shine your dog’s coat. Omega 3 helps the nervous system, the brain and vision. These Omega oils are also known to help reduce any joint and skin inflammation. Flaxseeds are also good for digestion as they contain a lot of natural fibre, which also help to produce solid stools.

This recipe is a high protein dog food without chicken and grain, making it ideal for dogs with specific sensitivities. It is a wheat-free and grain and gluten-free dry dog food, therefore barley free and has no corn. It is also a rice-free dog food. It does not contain any soy or fillers. There is no dairy or eggs. We never add salt to any of our recipes. There are no artificial colours, flavours, preservatives or additives. All ingredients are UK sourced human-grade quality ingredients. It is also lactose-free.

I was recently instructed by my vet to get HA food for my dog who has had an upset stomach. The first solution (a vet diet product) was pretty awful - my dog clearly didn't like it. So I was in a bit of a panic to find something he did like and I went for this product next. He can't eat it fast enough - he almost inhales it! So I'm a very relieved owner

My dog suffers with IBD and I've struggled to find a dried food that she can tolerate. This food seems to be ok so far and she loves it.
