Here's Neo's story........ We have had him as our foster since the 23 september this year, he came with some tins of food. We have fed our own dogs on a highly respected branded fish and brown rice and wanted to change him over to that, he immediately started having soft stool's. I put him on known well respected dry branded food which is recommended by vets for dogs with sensitive tums and we had the same problem, i tried him on the tinned version after a really bad bout of diarrhoea , even chicken and rice gave him a poorly tummy. One weekend he became SO bad we had to have him admitted into the vets and put on a drip, he came home with another branded sensitive pet food recommended by many vets for him to try, even this gave him diarrhoea. I was desperate to find a food that suited him and stop the puddle's, so I had a look on the internet to see if a hypoallergenic food would help Neo and came across Nutrix dog food by chance. We ordered a bag of the Salmon and Potato version to try him on, we ordered it on the Wednesday afternoon at 4 pm, we were astonished to receive it by 10.00am on the Thursday morning. Within 2 days of him eating this he had SOLID Stools! I cannot tell you how excited and pleased we were , a food that suited him, and he enjoyed eating and at a fantastic price too!!! We have 7 dogs and have put 6 of them on this food, they are all doing wonderfully on it too.

Hello I’m Christine, I work as a volunteer foster carer for a local rescue centre, to enable ill, old and otherwise very difficult dogs, to be in a home environment and receive the training and care they need to help them to find a permanent home. To date I have fostered and rehomed 14 dogs, it’s a very hard and tiring but rewarding job. Some of our more severe cases don’t make it to a foster carer and either dies on entry to the kennels, or soon after due to gross neglect.

As soon as I bring my new foster dog home, I like to introduce them to a high quality feed as many of them are suffering from neglect and poor health. As well as following veterinarian advice where necessary, I also talk to my dog food nutritionist for advice on which is the best food possible for my new dog. To support me in my foster work I am studying for a qualification in Dog Psychology and behaviour. I have found that the food my dogs eat also plays an extremely important role in their behaviour - many behaviour problems can be alleviated by adopting the correct diet. My latest foster dog Jak is an example of this. He is a young border collie, very mischievous; with so much energy I think he could climb Everest. He was a very nervous and frightened dog when he came to me 5 months ago, very thin and in poor health generally. He is now very settled, happy and thriving on Nutrix lamb and rice with Vermex.

I also have an elderly dog Toby, who was my first foster dog; I loved him so much I adopted him permanently. He has a major food allergy. He is sick if he eats any poor quality dog food, and he also has a reaction in his feet, in that his pads split open and become infected. I have found that his condition has been greatly improved since I have been feeding him on the products from Nutrix. My third dog is an elderly border collie that had started to suffer from a little stiffness in his hind quarters after a hard day of hiking. He has thrived on Nutrix and is now jumping fences and climbing mountains like a 3 year old! All three of my dogs have benefited from a product from Nutrix and each now have lovely glossy coats and are full of energy and spirit.

We have had Buster since October last year following the death of our 11 year old Old English Sheepdog. We were lost without our old boy and were fortunate to be able to take Buster-boy as a rescue dog. He came to us with 'behavioural issues', had been put on a special diet and he was very lean. We were also told that he didn't open his bowels very often and he was a very nervous dog on arrival. We knew the nature of these lively, loyal and very loving dogs and started to introduce him to a well know dried brand of dog food, with daily walks and ball-games!. He was becoming more like a normal, bouncy Old English, but still had loose, erratic motions. After reading the label of that particular brand of dog food, I thought that there were far too many additives and colourings (especially as he was prone to a touch of hyperactivity) so searched the internet for good quality hypoallergenic dog food. Then I discovered Nutrix - what a find! Half the price of a leading hypoallergenic dog food - swift, efficient delivery and very courteous customer service. Glad to say, also, all systems working as they should!

Since my dog Zola was a pup we have had trouble with her food as she has a sensitive stomach, the vets recommended different types of food but they were very expensive. So I did some research and came across Nutrix Petfoods and decided to try as it had all the goodneess in at half the price! Plus it was also suitable for dogs with sensitive stomachs. Well, all I can say is we tried it and Zola likes it and my other dog Freddy is now on it and when we take them to the vets we are always told what good condition they are now in.
