Maize - carbohydrate source, provides a steady release of energy, properly cooked so very digestible
Chicken meat - highly digestible human grade top quality protein (see notes below)
Rice - highly digestible carbohydrate source - energy dense.
Potato - (min 26%) good source of vitamin C, B6 and potassium good for immunity and very digestible, good as an alternative carbohydrate.
Chicken fat - Good source of linoleum acid helps to reduce itching and scratching, provides an irresistable odour and flavour
Beet pulp - fibre source, helps avoid constipation, absorptions of nutrients and good source of friendly bacteria
Brewers yeast - excellent source of B-complex vitamins - a known natural flea repellent!
Salmon oil - a good source of essential fatty acids
Prebiotic FOS - promotes growth of healthy intestinal bacteria
Yucca extract - known to help control stool and body odour and lawn staining

A Note about the Chicken used in our Hypoallergenic Dog Treat Recipes
Fresh chicken is highly palatable and highly digestible and is an excellent protein source. Chicken has an extremely high biological value meaning that it is easily broken down into its constituent amino acids which are the building blocks of protein that are necessary for a variety of structural and metabolic functions within the body. The human grade A chicken used in our hypo-allergenic recipes only come from chicken reared in the UK, they are also fit for human consumption. None of the chicken used in our hypoallergenic recipes have been genetically modified.
